At Res Naturae Yarns we have been creating in the fiber arts for over 25 years in a variety of media. We use the finest quality 2 and 4 ply merino wool for our base yarns for lucious texture and hand feel. We use color and washfast acid dyes custom blended to create subtle colors like those of nature around us. We are located in the beautiful rural foothills of Central Maine. Inspired by the beauty of Nature, we hand craft our beautiful luxury yarns..
Our customers are using these fine soft 100% merino wool yarns to create fine embroidery pieces, delicate lace knitting, enchanting colorwork Fair isle knitting, punch needle embroidery, Crewel, needlepoint, embellishments, and other handcrafted items as the fancy strikes them.
We put up our embroidery yarns in 25yd and 100 yd skeins. Our Knitting wools are put up into 100 and 200 yard skeins. We are often expanding our color selection so check back often!.
